Upper North End

The Upper North End is where the city thins out a bit, and people have more space to breathe. It is possibly the poorest area in the city. This is where you go when you can't secure a good union job in the Harbor District, or a decent service gig on the East Side. But not all is bleak. North End is home to the North Beach, a public beach which draws those who can't afford the prices in the south from all over the city, allowing small businesses along the shore to flourish.
