This wiki is the official knowledge base, compendium and campaign notes page for the Porthaven by Night Vampire the Masquerade campaign. The campaign uses the fifth edition rules and setting. All of the information on this wiki is open to players. The information here is considered to be either open knowledge to the Kindred of Porthaven, or has already been revealed to the players in the course of the campaign.
The Setting
The campaign takes place in the current day, of the the fifth edition timeline. Most important change here is that Lasombra and Banu Haqim are now in Camarilla while Brujah and Gangrel are not. The Beckoning has opened power vacuums everywhere so a lot of things are at flux. Additionally Camarilla has banned Kindred from using the internet and high tech though this rule is not strictly enforced.
The City
The campaign takes place in the fictional city of Porthaven, located on the East Coast of United States. The exact location is intentionally vague. Within the campaign world the state where the city is located is known, but never mentioned, and simply referred to as The State. Porthaven is considered to be within driving distance of New York City, but not close enough to make a for a round trip in a single night. Porthaven is a Camarilla city.
